This project started by removing all of the original kitchens except the wood flooring, which was carried throughout the house, to give a new configuration that best utilized the space along with an updated look. By designing a new layout for the homeowner we started by moving the range from the island to the outside wall to provide extra work space in the center. This also solved the problem of bottlenecking the major work spaces and giving the kitchen a more natural floor. Installing new windows to outline the customized range hood kept the kitchen light and bright while providing the extra wall space needed for this beautiful statement piece.
